Of course I'm going to miss getting up everyday and going to work. But almost as much as I will miss that, I'm going to miss our cats. Despite their close proximity in this picture, they really don't get along. My mother has generously agreed to care for them during our trip. She's a saint.

We're getting close. Now creating the blog that will hopefully give us a way to communicate our experiences to everyone back here while we're over there. This first picture is a portrait of the woman I married. You can see why I married her. Enjoy. -Alex
